Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment across all financial functions. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical financial expertise and the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers.
You will be responsible for managing the full financial cycle — from budgeting and forecasting to month-end close, financial reporting, and cash flow management — while building and leading a high-performing finance team beneath you.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily financial operations and accounting activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and VAT laws
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions
- Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls
- Analyse financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support strategic planning with data-driven financial modelling
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Prepare financial reports for board and senior management
- Supervise and mentor the accounts and finance team
- Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and payments
- Coordinate with operations and sales on financial planning
- Manage fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who combines strong technical finance knowledge with real-world leadership experience in the UAE or GCC market. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, with an ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field — required
- Master’s degree in Finance or MBA — preferred but not mandatory
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA — highly desirable
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance frameworks — essential
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles
- At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory finance position
- Prior experience working in the UAE or GCC region is a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
- Demonstrated track record in financial reporting and budget management

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or financial modelling tools
- Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards
