As Sales Manager, you will occupy a pivotal leadership role within the organisation — directly responsible for driving top-line revenue growth, building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and developing the strategic frameworks that convert market opportunities into sustained commercial success. You will report to senior management and operate with the authority and autonomy to make meaningful decisions that shape the direction of the sales function.
This role demands a rare combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution. You must be equally comfortable designing a six-month sales roadmap as you are coaching a junior sales representative through a complex client negotiation. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, a sharp commercial instinct, and the leadership gravitas to inspire a team and build lasting relationships with key accounts.
You will also be expected to work cross-functionally — collaborating with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure that every client touchpoint reflects the organisation’s commitment to quality, reliability, and service excellence. Strong analytical skills, CRM proficiency, and experience in sales forecasting will be essential to success in this position.
- ▶ Develop and implement comprehensive, data-driven sales strategies aligned with the company’s annual revenue targets and long-term growth objectives
- ▶ Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of sales representatives — setting clear KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing coaching to elevate team capability and output
- ▶ Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and consultative selling techniques
- ▶ Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term loyalty and repeat business
- ▶ Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer feedback to continuously refine and adapt sales tactics and positioning
- ▶ Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and budgets — reporting progress against targets to senior leadership with clear insights and action plans
- ▶ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure seamless product delivery and a consistently excellent client experience
- ▶ Oversee CRM system management to ensure complete, up-to-date records of all client interactions, pipeline stages, and deal closures
- ✓ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; MBA is an advantage
- ✓ Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales role, ideally within the Qatar or GCC market
- ✓ CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent tools for pipeline management and reporting
- ✓ Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language ability is a strong advantage
- ✓ Negotiation: Proven ability to close complex deals, manage objections confidently, and negotiate favourable commercial terms
- ✓ Analytical Skills: Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and interpreting market data to drive evidence-based decisions
- ✓ Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team — with a coaching mindset and results-oriented management approach
- ✓ Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of Qatar’s commercial landscape, industry competitive dynamics, and customer buying behaviours
