Job Summary
Ensure a safe working environment at project sites by implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor project-specific HSE plans and procedures
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification and recommend control measures
Carry out site safety inspections, audits and daily safety walks
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses — prepare detailed corrective action reports
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and training sessions for site personnel
Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE across all site activities
Maintain all HSE documentation, records and reports; liaise with regulatory authorities
Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement in safety performance
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s in Engineering — Mechanical, Civil or Industrial preferred
Certifications
NEBOSH IGC / IOSH — strongly preferred
Experience
Minimum 10 years in construction, oil & gas or industrial projects
Specialisation
Proven project site safety management experience
