Store Manager

About the Role
A reputed company in Qatar is urgently looking for an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to oversee daily store operations and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in store or retail management, strong leadership abilities, and excellent proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills. Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and manage store staff β including scheduling, performance monitoring, and training.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure optimal stock levels at all times.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely replenishment of stock and materials.
- Monitor stock movement, identify slow-moving items, and implement strategies to reduce wastage and shrinkage.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly store reports using MS Excel and other reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures at all times.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently maintained.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners for deliveries and store requirements.
- Implement store display standards and ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and presentable.
- Analyze store performance data and recommend strategies for improvement to senior management.
- Support audits, stocktakes, and loss prevention initiatives as directed.
Required Computer Skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office is mandatory for this role β especially advanced Excel skills for reporting and data management:
Who We Are Looking For
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role
- Prior experience in Qatar or GCC region is a significant advantage
- Background in retail, warehousing, FMCG, hospitality, or facilities management
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and procurement processes
- Candidates available to join immediately will be given highest priority
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Business, Commerce, Management, or related field preferred).
- Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
- Certification in Supply Chain, Retail Management, or Inventory Control is an advantage.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in a Store Manager or senior store operations role.
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more staff is preferred.
- Prior experience in Qatar or GCC is a distinct advantage.
- Advanced MS Excel skills β mandatory.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
