Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to take on a broad and impactful set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Manage and develop the full product lifecycle for the TV and Hi-Fi audio category, from introduction to phase-out
- Conduct regular market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities and threats within the consumer electronics segment
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns
- Work closely with the sales team to drive category revenue targets and meet quarterly KPIs
- Lead product launch planning and execution, ensuring alignment across logistics, marketing, and retail operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and brand partners
- Develop and present detailed product performance reports and data-driven insights to senior management using Excel and BI tools
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to forecast demand accurately
- Support the training of retail and internal sales teams on new product features and benefits
- Contribute to long-term category strategy, identifying gaps and potential new product additions
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing from a recognised university.
Experience
2–4 years of hands-on experience in Product Management, Category Management, or Brand Management.
Industry Knowledge
Prior exposure to the TV, Audio, or Hi-Fi consumer electronics industry is strongly preferred.
Analytical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategy.
Stakeholder Management
Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple departments and seniority levels.
Mindset
Fast-paced, detail-oriented, and highly organised with a proactive attitude and a passion for consumer technology.
