Roles & Responsibilities

The FMCG Merchandiser will be responsible for a set of clearly defined, field-based duties carried out across assigned retail and distribution locations in Qatar. The role is practical, active, and requires someone who is organized, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining excellent product presentation at all times.

• Product Visibility: Ensure company products are placed in the most prominent shelf positions and are clearly visible to customers at all times, following agreed merchandising standards.
• Expiry Checks: Conduct regular checks on product expiry dates, rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles, and remove any expired or damaged products from shelves immediately.
• Competitor Monitoring: Observe and report on competitor product placements, promotions, and pricing at retail locations to assist the sales and marketing team.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily visit logs, stock reports, and delivery records, submitting timely reports to the line manager as required.
• Promotional Support: Assist in setting up in-store promotional displays, price tags, and point-of-sale materials during product launches or seasonal campaigns.
• Customer Relations: Build positive working relationships with store managers and staff at assigned retail locations to facilitate smooth operations and product placement cooperation.

Eligibility Criteria

This position is open to a wide range of candidates including recent school leavers, fresh graduates, and individuals with limited work experience.
