About the Role
The organization is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Supervisor to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of its IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising IT support activities, maintaining system security and reliability, and contributing to the preparation of technical proposals and tender documents.
This role demands strong technical expertise combined with leadership skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
The IT Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Supervise daily IT operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all IT systems and services
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, endpoints, and enterprise applications
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components
- Lead and manage IT support staff, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex and escalated IT problems
- Manage IT service requests, incident response procedures, and escalation processes
- Ensure system availability, performance, and security across all IT environments
- Support cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability management, and system hardening initiatives
- Prepare and develop technical tender documents, RFP responses, and technical proposals
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to prepare competitive and accurate solutions
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, upgrades, and ongoing support
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures
- Prepare regular technical reports and system performance updates for management review
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management
- Proven experience supervising and leading IT support teams
- Experience preparing technical tenders, RFP responses, or technical proposals is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and enterprise systems
- Hands-on experience with system administration and IT support operations
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, Microsoft, or CompTIA are preferred
