Job Overview
A well-established company operating in the fire safety, engineering, and construction sector in Qatar is actively seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Sales Representative to be based in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from QAR 4,500 to QAR 6,000, along with outstanding growth opportunities in one of the Gulf region’s most resilient and expanding industries.
The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in sales, ideally with a deep understanding of fire alarm systems, firefighting products, and the broader construction and engineering ecosystem in Qatar. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and sustaining strong client relationships, and consistently achieving — and exceeding — sales targets across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in the company’s commercial growth in Qatar and the wider GCC region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
- Proactively identify and develop new customer relationships in assigned markets, secure Bills of Quantities (BOQ), submit competitive quotations, and successfully close sales orders
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by delivering exceptional service, resolving issues promptly, and increasing both sales volume and customer share of wallet
- Protect and promote the company’s long-term sustainable growth by acting as a brand ambassador in every client interaction
- Lead and drive sales efforts for Firex products across the Qatari market and support the expansion into international markets where applicable
- Achieve outstanding sales performance across all assigned regions by initiating and executing targeted sales campaigns and promotions
- Analyse sales performance data for the region on an ongoing basis, providing structured feedback and recommendations to management, identifying areas of concern, and proposing remedial strategies
- Identify areas where sales targets are not being achieved, conduct root cause analysis, and implement timely and effective corrective action
- Identify new business opportunities including new market segments, new sales channels, and potential agents across the region; produce detailed cost/benefit analyses and recommendations for management review
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key departmental heads including those in financial, human resources, engineering, purchasing, and IT functions to ensure coordinated internal support
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts for senior management on a weekly and monthly basis
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements to be considered for this role:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
Industry Knowledge
Strong understanding of fire safety systems, fire alarm technology, firefighting equipment, and construction industry dynamics in Qatar or the GCC.
Technical Sales
Demonstrated ability to sell technical products and services — including interpreting BOQs, preparing proposals, and presenting technical solutions to clients.
Shipping & Documentation
Prior experience in shipping logistics and documentation processes is considered a strong advantage for this role.
Experience Required
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in either Sales or Engineering, with a focus on the fire safety, fire alarm, or fire suppression industry. Candidates should have practical, working knowledge of firefighting systems, product specifications, service and maintenance requirements, and design principles.
A solid understanding of the construction industry in Qatar is essential, as the majority of sales opportunities will arise from new construction, fit-out, and infrastructure projects across the country. Familiarity with the tendering process, contractor networks, and procurement cycles in Qatar’s construction market will be a significant advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of sales or engineering experience in the fire safety or related industry
- In-depth knowledge of firefighting systems, fire alarms, products, service, and design standards
- Solid understanding of Qatar’s construction and infrastructure sector
- Experience in managing shipping and import/export documentation is preferred
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills will be considered an added advantage
- Valid Qatar driving licence preferred
