🛣 Road / Utility / Drainage Inspector
Role 01Inspect road construction, utility installations, and drainage systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, Qatar standards, and approved drawings. Monitor sub-base, pavement, kerbing, and drainage works throughout all project phases.
⚡ Electrical Inspector
Role 02Inspect all electrical installations on infrastructure and civil projects including street lighting, cable laying, substations, and distribution networks. Verify compliance with IEC standards, approved designs, and Qatar regulations.
💧 Irrigation Inspector
Role 03Oversee installation and testing of irrigation systems including pipework, pump stations, controllers, and drip/sprinkler networks. Ensure all systems meet Qatar Ashghal and landscape authority requirements and perform as designed.
📋 Material Inspector
Role 04Inspect, test, and approve incoming materials, products, and equipment on project sites. Review material submittals, mill certificates, and test reports to ensure compliance with specifications. Coordinate with QA/QC team and laboratories for material testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of civil, electrical, irrigation, and material works on active project sites
- Review and verify that all construction activities conform to approved drawings and specifications
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports and site observation records
- Identify non-conformances and issue NCRs, coordinating timely corrective actions with contractors
- Attend site meetings, pre-installation inspections, and joint surveys with client representatives
- Ensure all materials used on site are approved, tested, and certified as per project requirements
- Liaise with design teams, QA/QC engineers, and site supervisors for technical clarifications
- Maintain comprehensive inspection logs, punch lists, and handover documentation
- Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements and site safety regulations
- Support commissioning, testing, and final acceptance activities for all infrastructure works
General Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
Proven experience in infrastructure inspection roles in Qatar or GCC
Familiarity with Qatar Ashghal, KAHRAMAA, and local authority standards
Strong knowledge of inspection procedures, QA/QC processes, and NCR management
Excellent report writing and documentation skills in English
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Must currently be based in Qatar or available for immediate joining
Valid Qatar driving license preferred
