Project Manager — Civil / Mechanical

🏗 Project Manager — Civil
Role 01Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring full compliance with Qatar government approval and regulatory requirements. Oversee planning, execution, quality control, and stakeholder coordination across all civil works on site.
⚙ Project Manager — Mechanical
Role 02Manage mechanical project activities including HVAC, piping, equipment installation, and MEP systems for special construction projects. Ensure government approvals, authority submissions, and all compliance milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
NOC — No Objection Certificate Required
All applicants must hold a valid NOC from their current or previous employer in Qatar. This is a mandatory requirement for all applicants. CVs received without NOC confirmation will not be considered for shortlisting.
No Trainees — Grade A, B or C Professionals Only
This role is strictly for classified professionals holding Grade A, B, or C engineering certifications. Trainees, unclassified engineers, and applicants without the required grade classification will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for civil or mechanical construction projects in Qatar
- Manage government approval processes, authority submissions, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, government authorities, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions as required
- Ensure all works comply with Qatar construction standards, codes, and authority requirements
- Oversee QA/QC processes, site inspections, and completion of punch lists for handover
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, risk registers, and progress updates to senior management
- Manage project documentation including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and method statements
- Lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver on time and within budget
Requirements
Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
Valid Grade A, B, or C professional classification — mandatory
Valid NOC from current or previous employer in Qatar
Minimum 8–10 years of project management experience in Qatar or GCC
Experience in government approval, compliance, and authority coordination
Strong knowledge of Qatar construction standards and local authority procedures
PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
