About the Role
A reputed company in Qatar is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Electro Mechanical Engineer for Mall Maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and will have strong hands-on experience in building maintenance, MEP systems, HVAC works, and QCDD compliance. Candidates with more than five years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day electro-mechanical maintenance operations within the mall facility.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and BMS.
- Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems operate at optimal efficiency and comply with QCDD and local safety regulations.
- Lead and coordinate maintenance teams, technicians, and subcontractors on site.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and engineering emergencies to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Prepare and review maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and service records.
- Coordinate with tenants, mall management, and service providers for planned maintenance activities.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, site safety procedures, and Qatar authority requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, energy audits, and maintenance cost summaries for management.
Key Technical Knowledge
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- UPDA / MME professional registration in Qatar is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC, MEP, or facility management are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in building or mall maintenance.
- Proven track record in MEP, HVAC, and electro-mechanical operations.
- Prior experience in Qatar or GCC is a strong advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge in building systems and maintenance.
- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management tools.
- Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified Financial Controller based in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will take full ownership of financial reporting, cash flow management, expenditure monitoring, and audit compliance for the organization. This is a senior-level role requiring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and recognized professional accounting certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stability and operational continuity.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports for senior management review.
- Monitor and control company expenditure against approved budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead the annual financial audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with Qatar financial regulations, tax laws, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the board.
- Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Oversee ERP financial system management, reporting modules, and process improvements.
Key Technical Skills
Who We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, including at controller or senior finance level
- Recognized accounting certification: CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent β essential
- Prior experience in Qatar or GCC financial environment
- Hands-on experience with ERP financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proven experience managing external audits and liaising with auditors
- Experience in trading, retail, FMCG, or related industries is an advantage
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Master’s Degree (MBA / MSc Finance) is an advantage.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA certification is essential.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience.
- At least 3β5 years in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
- Experience in Qatar or GCC is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
- High integrity and attention to financial detail.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus.
