Role Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Promote and upsell products by demonstrating features, benefits, and value to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain product displays, shelves, and the sales floor in a clean and well-organized condition.
- Monitor stock levels on the floor and coordinate with the store-keeper for replenishment.
- Meet individual and team sales targets set by management.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Assist with stock-taking, inventory checks, and merchandising activities.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements — receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments.
- Organize and manage warehouse or storeroom layout for efficient retrieval of items.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with the procurement team regarding shortages, damaged items, and reordering.
- Ensure all stored items are properly labelled, coded, and stored according to guidelines.
- Prepare daily/weekly stock reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the store area.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience as a Sales Associate or Store-Keeper.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Business, Retail, or Logistics is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy; experience with inventory/POS software is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to handle goods including lifting and stacking.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to shift schedules.
- Must be willing to relocate to or currently based in Qatar.
