Roles & Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management: Oversee all daily workshop operations, ensuring that all repair and maintenance work is executed efficiently, on time, and consistently meets defined quality standards.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate workshop resources effectively including personnel, tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory to maximize overall team productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Safety Management: Implement, enforce, and continuously review all workplace safety protocols to maintain a secure, compliant work environment for all staff, contractors, and visitors at all times.
  • Team Training & Development: Conduct regular technical training sessions to enhance team skills, update staff on new products and technologies, and ensure the team remains current with industry best practices and OEM service bulletins.
  • OEM Standards Compliance: Manage and operate the workshop strictly in accordance with OEM factory standards, maintaining the required quality of work on all household appliance repair and maintenance activities.
  • Technical Team Leadership: Lead and manage the technical team on a daily basis, providing direction, motivation, and technical guidance to ensure consistently high performance levels across all workshop functions.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate and schedule work across multiple work teams, balancing urgent repair jobs with planned maintenance work to achieve the highest levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Delivery Deadlines: Monitor all active jobs and ensure strict adherence to customer delivery deadlines, proactively managing delays and communicating transparently with customers and management when timelines are at risk.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain robust quality control processes throughout the workshop, conducting regular inspections of completed work before release to customers.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management covering productivity, quality metrics, customer satisfaction, team performance, and resource utilization.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of spare parts and tools inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and that procurement is aligned with workshop workload and OEM requirements.
