1.  Civil Engineer

Position Overview

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all civil and structural works associated with the company’s showroom fit-outs, factory facilities, and project sites. The role requires practical experience in construction supervision, technical drawing review, and project coordination within a manufacturing or furniture production environment.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (mandatory).
  • Professional engineering licensure or registration is an advantage.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably within the furniture, fit-out, or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in site supervision, construction management, and project coordination.
  • Experience in fit-out, joinery, or interior construction projects is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural/civil design software.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Knowledge of Qatar construction standards and municipality requirements.
  • Familiarity with BOQ preparation, material take-offs, and project cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage civil and structural works for showrooms, warehouses, and production facilities.
  • Review and approve drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor quality standards, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare progress reports, site records, and project documentation.
  • Support the estimation and tendering process for civil works packages.

2.  Finance Manager  (Arabic-Speaking)

Position Overview

The Finance Manager will lead all financial operations of the company, ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory for this role due to the nature of client and regulatory interactions within the Qatar market.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (mandatory).
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA is strongly preferred.
  • Arabic language proficiency — spoken and written — is mandatory.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience in the furniture, manufacturing, retail, or trading sector is preferred.
  • Experience working in Qatar or the GCC region is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Qatar financial regulations and tax requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of VAT compliance and filing requirements in Qatar.
  • Experience with payroll management and WPS (Wage Protection System).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full financial operations of the company including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure full compliance with Qatar financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, government authorities, and external stakeholders in Arabic and English.
  • Monitor financial performance against KPIs and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Oversee the costing and pricing of furniture products and projects to ensure profitability.

3.  Production Manager (Carpentry, Upholstery & Painting)

Position Overview

The Production Manager will oversee all manufacturing and production activities across the company’s carpentry, upholstery, and painting departments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of furniture production processes and the leadership skills to manage multi-discipline production teams in a high-output environment.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Wood Technology, or a related field.
  • Vocational or technical certification in carpentry, furniture production, or upholstery is an advantage.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or production management.
  • Hands-on experience across all three production disciplines: carpentry / joinery, upholstery, and spray painting / finishing (mandatory).
  • Proven track record in managing large production teams in a furniture factory environment.
  • Prior experience with custom or bespoke furniture manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of carpentry and joinery techniques, wood materials, and hardware.
  • Strong understanding of upholstery methods — fabric cutting, foam work, spring systems, and finishing.
  • Expertise in furniture painting and finishing — spray painting, lacquering, staining, and veneering.
  • Ability to read and interpret furniture design drawings, technical specifications, and cutting lists.
  • Knowledge of production planning software, ERP systems, or manufacturing scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and waste reduction techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities across carpentry, upholstery, and painting departments.
  • Set and monitor production targets, timelines, and quality standards to meet delivery schedules.
  • Manage and lead a multi-discipline production workforce, including supervisors, craftsmen, and labourers.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality control at every stage of the production process.
  • Optimise production workflows, machinery utilisation, and material usage to maximise efficiency.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams for timely sourcing of raw materials, fabrics, hardware, and finishing materials.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant factory environment in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, quality defects, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the design and sales teams to ensure production aligns with client specifications and order requirements.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly production reports to senior management.

4.  Interior Designer / 3D Designer

Position Overview

The Interior Designer / 3D Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and aesthetically compelling furniture and interior design concepts for the company’s clients. The role requires strong visual creativity combined with technical proficiency in 3D rendering and design software to bring client visions to life.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related creative discipline (mandatory).
  • Portfolio of completed interior design and 3D rendering projects is required for shortlisting.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Interior Designer or 3D Designer, preferably within the furniture, fit-out, or interior design sector.
  • Proven experience producing high-quality 3D visualisations and photorealistic renderings for client presentations.
  • Experience working with furniture manufacturing companies or fit-out contractors is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept through to handover.

Technical Skills

  • Expert proficiency in 3D design software — 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino, or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Strong command of rendering engines — V-Ray, Corona, Lumion, or equivalent for photorealistic output.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D technical drawings, floor plans, and elevations.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for presentation and post-production.
  • Familiarity with furniture design principles — proportions, materials, finishes, and ergonomics.
  • Strong understanding of space planning, lighting design, and material selection for residential and commercial interiors.
  • Ability to prepare complete design packages including concept boards, material schedules, and FF&E specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative interior design concepts and furniture layout proposals tailored to client briefs and requirements.
  • Produce high-quality 3D visualisations, walkthroughs, and photorealistic renderings for client review and approval.
  • Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and furniture arrangement plans using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate closely with the production and carpentry teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
  • Present design concepts and revisions to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Develop material, colour, and finish boards for client selection — fabrics, laminates, veneers, paints, and hardware.
  • Manage design projects from initial concept through to production handover, ensuring design intent is maintained.
  • Stay updated on current interior design trends, furniture styles, and material innovations.
  • Support the showroom display team with visual merchandising and layout refreshes.
