Electrical & Electronic Technician
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and test electrical and electronic systems as per technical specifications
- Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Install and service automatic and electronic door systems including sensors and controls
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project teams to ensure smooth installation workflows
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and company guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and service reports
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and emergency repair requests
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for spare parts procurement and technical support
Added Advantage
Candidates with hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Electronic or Automatic Door Systems will be given strong preference and added advantage during selection.
Requirements
3–4 years of experience in electrical/electronic systems
Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Hands-on experience in installation and commissioning
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
Knowledge of Qatar/GCC electrical safety standards
Experience in automatic/electronic doors is a plus
Valid Qatar driving license preferred
