Valid Qatar Driving Licence — Mandatory Requirement
All applicants must hold a valid Qatar Driving Licence at the time of application. This is a non-negotiable requirement as the role involves travel between sites and facilities. Applications without a valid Qatar licence will not be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems
- Diagnose faults quickly and carry out timely repairs to minimise downtime and disruption
- Inspect and service electrical panels, wiring, switches, sockets, and lighting installations
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, pumps, and drainage networks
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, carpentry, and minor civil repairs
- Travel between sites using company vehicle to attend maintenance calls and scheduled inspections
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, job cards, and service reports for all completed work
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and breakdown situations
- Ensure all works comply with Qatar health, safety, and building regulations at all times
- Coordinate with facility managers and supervisors for materials, spares, and work scheduling
- Support commissioning and testing of new equipment and building systems as required
Requirements
2–3 years of maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, and general works
Valid Qatar Driving Licence — mandatory
Diploma or trade certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline
Experience in facility maintenance in Qatar or GCC preferred
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Good knowledge of Qatar safety standards and building regulations
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive attitude
Basic English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage
