Receptionist
Admin Background | 2β4 Years Experience | Qatar
About the Role
We are looking for a professional, well-presented, and customer-focused Receptionist with a strong administrative background to join our team in Qatar. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized front-desk environment. Candidates with prior receptionist experience and excellent spoken English communication skills will be strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls efficiently; take messages and respond to general inquiries.
- Manage front-desk operations including visitor registration, appointment scheduling, and meeting room bookings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, couriers, and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to departments as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Manage office supplies inventory and raise requests for replenishment when required.
- Assist with data entry, document filing, and record maintenance.
- Uphold company standards for professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.
Who We Are Looking For
- Prior experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or Admin Executive
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
- Confident, presentable, and professionally groomed personality
- Experience in a corporate office, hotel, FM company, or similar professional environment
- Ability to handle high call volumes and multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Any Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Additional certification in Office Administration or Customer Service is an advantage.
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role.
- Experience in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
- Strong customer service orientation with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management systems.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
