About the Role
The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for managing all government-related documentation, visa processing, licensing, and official transactions on behalf of the organization. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE government procedures, excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently across different emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all government-related transactions including visa applications, renewals, and cancellations
- Process employment visas, residence permits, and Emirates ID applications for employees
- Liaise with UAE government departments including immigration, labour ministry, municipalities, and other official bodies
- Manage trade license renewals, company registrations, and regulatory compliance documentation
- Coordinate with various government online portals and ensure timely submission of all documents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all PRO-related transactions and deadlines
- Travel across Dubai and Northern Emirates to complete government transactions as required
- Provide guidance and support to HR and management teams on government regulations and procedures
- Ensure full compliance with UAE labour laws and immigration regulations at all times
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Arabic nationality is mandatory for this position
- Good English communication skills — both written and verbal
- Minimum 5 years of PRO experience in the UAE, preferably within group companies
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English writing
- Solid familiarity with UAE government online systems and portals including MOHRE, ICP, and DED
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of UAE immigration and labour laws
